話說..應該是2004年時..跟一個網友買了一顆Hitachi的120G的硬碟..(三年保固...保到2007年3月的樣子)
買來之後..用著用著..
2006年的5月..發現硬碟有發出怪怪的聲音..
雖然不是一直出現..但偶爾就來個幾聲..
而那時候發現插排線那的針腳..有一根已經脫銲了..
想說..這顆硬碟也還在保固內..而上面貼著"威X"的代理商的貼紙..就想說要去看看..看能不能換一顆..
而送去之前..卻自以為聰明的..用洛鐵把那個脫銲的針腳給銲了起來..

拿到威X之後..我跟小姐說..【這顆硬碟有怪聲】...
但那小姐一看到我有銲過..就說這是人為損壞..
就說原廠不一定會修...有點不想收...
當時候我就跟小姐說【送回原廠看看】
當時候就說好【若原廠要修,並且有報價的話,威X要先通知我,我若不修的話,可以把送修的硬碟拿回來】
【若原廠不修的話,我也可以直接把送修的硬碟拿回來】
所以..當時候就填了單,請小姐幫忙代送~

送了之後..我就在網路上爬了文..
發現..我應該要自已送原廠才對..不應該送威X..
當然..這一次花了500塊..還有不愉快的經驗..
算是花錢學經驗...(過了一年..送到代理商..代理商會收大約600塊不等的金額..)
新竹 威X的那小姐、工程師..也很機X
而拿回來的這顆硬碟..是全新的..保固到2007年4月..(多了一個月^^)

一直使用到今年的三月...似乎又有怪聲音..所以..打算送修..
這一次送修..當然是自已送回原廠..所以..先說一下整個流程..
1. 到這裡 http://www.hgst.com/warranty/jsp/index.jsp ,點選"RMA Request Process"
選擇"台灣"..再輸入序號(S/N number)..後,再按Check (若還在保固內的話就會再到下一步)
2. 再來..它會問你一些問題..你就點一點..(有點像是在做問卷)
3. 之後,要你填一些資料,例如英文的地址,電話、名字、E-mail address等等
4. 之後就會是產生一組RMA number,並且會告訴你,要寄到哪裡
5. 這時候..會寄一封Email到你的信箱..內容如下:

6. 你可以把中間那部份,直接印出來,然後把你的硬碟包好之後,把印出來的這張,直接貼在上面,
不過,要記得,在上面要註明【轉Hitachi硬碟維修人員】(因為蘆竹那除了Hichtai外,還有Seagate,所以標註一下)
7. 這時候,就拿到郵局,只要花55塊,跟郵局的先生買"便利包"那種(上面有一隻鴿子),不要寄80塊的哦 (省25塊 ^^)
8. 隔一兩天,硬碟寄到蘆竹之後,Hitachi的維修人員會打電話來跟你確認 姓名、地址,並且跟你說硬碟會送回新加坡..
9. 再隔一天吧,你上http://www.hgst.com/warranty/jsp/arma51.jsp 輸入RMA number和郵遞區號查詢狀態時,就會看到原廠有沒有收到、並且什麼時候把硬碟寄出來
10. 接著,你就會收到一顆硬碟,而且,原廠寄過來的包裝,真的是包的好好的(小小的一顆硬碟,箱子卻好大..^^)

話說,4月初收到原廠寄過來的硬碟之後,查了一下保固,呵~~保固到2007年7月..^^
在四月中回彰化時,準備要裝上去,卻不小心讓它從一公尺高的地方摔下來..心想..糟了..這下慘了..
果真接上去之後,只聽到喀喀聲作響..唉,又得送修了 > <

所以又在4/21的時候,又上原廠的網頁...又再按照上面的步驟,做了一次~並且再把那顆新硬碟拿到郵局去寄..
而隔天,蘆竹那的工程師打電話來確認,
再隔天,查詢一下,原廠收到囉,再隔一兩天,收到信,說硬碟已經寄出來了 ^^ (這次效率更快)

呵~~星期一等著收硬碟 ^_^
雖然說,現在的硬碟的品質沒有像以前那麼好..
不過,原廠的保固真的做的很好..(對於End user來說..)
所以..提醒大家,硬碟壞掉(超過一年),不要送到代理商..
自已送原廠還比較快,也很方便!!
對了..Seagate的送修方便也跟Hitachi的差不多..^^
